Our Process
A clear workflow for remote garden design delivery, from forensic data capture through digital twin construction, nocturnal simulation and final asset generation, with optional Printed Garden Folios as a physical fulfilment layer.
A Four-Step Remote Workflow
This page explains how the Moonlight remote garden design workflow operates. It is a process page rather than a product page, designed to show how data becomes a resolved digital architecture route and, where relevant, an optional physical folio layer.
Forensic Data Capture
The workflow begins with the client data pack. Measurements, photographs, references and site specifics are gathered so the project can be developed remotely with stronger spatial accuracy and fewer assumptions.
Digital Twin Construction
The site is translated into a working digital model. Depending on route selection, this may support Foundation Strategy Asset, Signature Layout Asset or the wider Complete Blueprint Asset pathway.
Nocturnal Simulation
Lighting logic, spatial atmosphere and after-dark performance are tested where relevant. This stage is particularly important when the route includes Nocturnal Lighting Schematic or the wider 3D architectural pathway.
Asset Generation
The final outputs are assembled into usable digital assets for planning, contractor coordination and decision-making. Where required, this can later connect to Printed Garden Folios as a separate physical fulfilment layer.
How The Timeline Is Structured
The 21-Day Design Sprint remains the clearest way to understand pace. It is a structured workflow rather than a claim of instant delivery, and the rhythm is designed to keep the project moving without overwhelming the client.
Capture And Setup
Client information is reviewed, the site logic is organised and the digital groundwork is established. This is where the project moves from raw inputs into a buildable digital structure.
Model And Test
The digital twin is refined, layout decisions are pressure-tested and specialist layers are introduced where relevant, including planting logic, lighting structure or wider enhancement compatibility.
Generate And Deliver
Final assets are assembled for delivery. The route is packaged into usable digital outputs, with optional transition into Printed Garden Folios if a physical A3 posted layer is desired afterwards.
Printed Garden Folios
Printed Garden Folios remain an optional physical fulfilment layer. They do not replace the digital route. Instead, they provide a tactile A3 posted format for review, contractor handover or project presentation once the digital architecture has already been produced.
Printed Foundation Review Dossier
A physical A3 posted edition for early review logic, planning notes and restrained site diagnosis.
View Printed FoliosPrinted Signature Contractor Dossier
A physical A3 contractor-facing dossier for dimensional planning, quoting conversations and build coordination.
View Printed FoliosPrinted Nocturnal Blueprint Folio
A premium physical A3 posted folio for clients who want the design held in presentation form after the digital route is complete.
View Printed FoliosThe Digital Toolchain
The process depends on a disciplined digital toolchain. This section is here to clarify workflow support rather than make the page read like a product catalogue or review page.
Modelling
Digital modelling tools support spatial structure, proportion control and the accurate development of the garden route before outputs are generated.
Visualisation
Visualisation tools support simulation, atmosphere testing and presentation clarity, especially in routes involving 3D review or nocturnal decision-making.
Documentation
Layout and document workflows convert the model into usable digital assets that can support planning, handover and optional transition into physical folio fulfilment.
Process Clarification
What is the first step in the remote garden design workflow?
The process begins with Forensic Data Capture. Measurements, photographs and site information are collected so the project can move into a structured digital route with stronger accuracy.
Are Printed Garden Folios part of the digital workflow?
Printed Garden Folios are not part of the core digital workflow. They are a separate optional physical A3 posted fulfilment layer that can sit around the completed digital route.
How does the process connect to route selection?
The same workflow can support Foundation Strategy Asset, Signature Layout Asset, Complete Blueprint Asset and compatible enhancement or bundle pathways. The route changes the outputs, but the process framework remains structured and consistent.
